Our under turf soil is specially blended for the purpose of giving you new turf a great starting bed. This is a heavier blend of soil as it does carry sand. The sand in this product allows the soil to have good drainage. The compost in this blend gives this product a good nutrient base. This allows your new turf to feed and thrive in its new location.
Once your new lawn is established keeping in mind the rich nutrients that have been added to the new soil you placed under your turf will slowly diminish over time. It is recommended to top dress your lawn every 12 months and to regularly feed your turf with a fertilizer this will give you the most out of your lawn.
